We are gathering at SoMo Playhouse to give tribute to some of America's greatest talents, some are recognized from their first names alone.  Join us on the last weekend in February as part of our 2017-18 Season and Black History Month as we present excerpts from Blues for Mr. Charlie, directed by Renee Matthews-Jackson.  Renee has directed several main stage productions in Cleveland, Ohio but this is her debut in Tallahassee.  Come out and support this relocated artist, her cast, crew, and the community as we celebrate the lives and works of Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, Duke Ellington, Marian Anderson, Mahalia Jackson, and many more. The main attraction follows the preshow.
