This year, our annual Family Concert will feature Doc B and his sidekick Monty, who travel back in time to save the fate of music!
Doc B is a brilliant eccentric inventor, who has managed to build a time-machine — out of an orchestra! Welcome to the Orchestra Laboratory, and join Doc B and his side-kick Monty on an epic adventure that will take you through musical time, and help them save the fate of music, and the universe itself! This interactive family show will showcase the talent of the TSO, as well as introduce the audience to all of the instruments of the orchestra. Featuring pieces like the William Tell Overture, Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, Stravinsky’s Firebird and even some Bach, you are sure to have a memorable musical experience. Dress-up is welcome – in honor of the Back to the Future movies, the entire orchestra will dress up in 80s garb. Or you can also come as your favorite mad scientist – and join the TSO as we go…Bach to the Future!

General parking is available in the St. Augustine Garage located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets, and the Call Street Garage located on corner of Call and Macomb Streets. Accessible parking is available at the North Entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall and along Convocation Way. The accessible entrance drop-off area is located at the north entrance of Ruby Diamond (the roundabout) and may be accessed by Convocation Way. Elevators are available to take patrons to the appropriate floor. Ushers will help direct patrons to the elevators.
