In this musical comedy, a bold, ambitious young man sets out to conquer the business world without much knowledge or prospects, and rises from window washer to the chair of one of the nation’s biggest companies in record time.
Opening this the weekend of Feb. 16 at The Quincy Music Theatre is "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," a witty, comic musical which has won both Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize. In the musical, J. Pierrepont Finch -- a young window washer -- tries to move up in the world clutching nothing more than a book called "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." He applies at the World Wide Wicket Company, and while working in the mailroom, bumbles into the egotistical company president J.B. Biggley. One crazy coincidence and luck of fate after another, and Finch is rapidly promoted to levels above his incompetence.
