Springtime in Tallahassee is ripe with events celebrating our unique and friendly southern community. One of the signature springtime events is Taste of the Lakes at Buck Market.   This family oriented event transforms the campus of Deerlake Middle School into a bustling market filled with local vendors representing businesses, restaurants, entertainers and artisans.   Last years market featured over 125 vendors and brought in more than 1,400 participants.   The upcoming fourth annual Taste of the Lakes will take place on April 14^th, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and promises to be even bigger and better.

The fourth annual Taste of the Lakes will feature local vendors offering everything from trendy boutique clothing, jewelry, gift items and personalized products, to health and wellness services, and a variety of enrichment programs. Providing fuel for all that energetic shopping will be a wide array of Tallahassee’s most popular dining and catering establishments offering free samples of their signature dishes. There will be a well-stocked silent auction and continuous, live entertainment throughout the event.

Awarded the Family and Community Involvement Award for 2016 (Secondary Level) by the Department of Education, Taste of the Lakes at Buck Market is the ultimate “family friendly” event and one that shouldn’t be missed!
