In honor of the 50th anniversary of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, WFSU Public Media is hosting Daniel Tiger’s Be My Neighbor Day, a free family event on Saturday, February 3rd from 10-2.
Come Join WFSU at Daniel Tiger’s Be My Neighbor Day:
What: Free family event with oodles of Tiger-tastic fun with community neighbors
When: Saturday February 3rd, 2018 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Where: In and around Downtown Tallahassee (Kleman Plaza, Museum of Florida History, Cascades Park, Collins Library, LeMoyne Art Center, Old Capitol Museum)
How: Free parking in most nearby garages. (See map on our weblink below). Trolley transportation to different sites provided by the City of Tallahassee.
Trolley stops will feature friendly neighbor-building activities, meet and greets with Daniel Tiger and Katarina Kitty Cat, and Tallahassee points of pride, such as the downtown Collins Library, the Museum of Florida History, the Challenger Learning Center and LeMoyne Center for Visual Arts.
Visitors are encouraged to bring new or gently used sweaters and other outerwear items for donation. Parking will be free in nearby state-operated garages; weekend parking rates at Kleman Plaza garage will apply.
