Young Actors Theater Presents: Pippin

Young Actors Theater Presents: Pippin

Presented by Young Actors Theatre at Young Actors Theatre

After failing out as a warrior, Pippin, son of Charlemagne, is encouraged by a band of players to set out on an adventure to discover passion and the meaning of life.  The journey of self-discovery sends the impressionable Pippin through trials and tribulations from childhood to adulthood. His quest to be extraordinary is set to an unforgettable score by musical theatre giant Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell). Pippin feels utterly current, asking us where we can look to find light through darkness and hope through uncertainty. Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day.  Pippin’s message is universal and will connect with audiences across the age spectrum.

Performances are as follows: Friday, June 22 at 7:30pm; Saturday, June 23 at 7:30pm; Sunday, June 24 at 2pm and 7:30pm; Thursday, June 28 at 7:30pm; Friday, June 29 at 7:30pm; Saturday, June 30 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, July 1 at 2pm and 7:30pm.
