A Free workshop at The Plant for the community to make a Peace Posters or Postcards about the subject of Peace and what it means. The artwork from this workshop will be exhibited at The Plant in collaboration with MOFA and other venues May 11, 2018
The MOFA FSU Artists League, is participating in "Waging Peace at The Plant" to showcase art making activities and to highlight the subject of What Peace is and what it means to individuals and the Public at large. Perdita Ross is hosting a Blacklight Box Painting Event on First Friday Feb. 2, 2018 with other Artists League members in Railroad Square Art Park. The fluorescent painting event will begin at 6pm. Volunteers will paint their thoughts on boxes and make short statements about what "Waging Peace" means to them personally. The box painting event will be deconstructed and used for the Waging Peace workshop on Saturday March 3, 2018. Open to ages 13 and up, this workshop will allow participants to make their own Peace Posters and Postcards for the May 2018 "Waging Peace"Art Exhibition.Please contact Perdita at 850 524 9972 for more info.
