"Nature - the magnificent" a fundraiser musical to help Puerto Rico hurricane victims rebuild

Presented by Rasajhari (artistic wing of Mother's Cry) at Lincoln High School Auditorium

This musical \"Nature - the magnificent\" by about 40 dancers performing five different forms of dance, depict the five elements of nature.

Solar system is the only planetary system in the universe which consists of life the way we define and know today.  Earth, the planet is perfectly positioned with all the necessary elements, which working harmoniously provide the right medium for light to take place and thrive.

When harmony of these elements is lost, depicted by fury of the elements, it causes natural calamities, namely earthquakes, wildfires, flooding, hurricanes and tornadoes till the harmony is restored again.

These known scientific facts are depicted through five forms of dance:  Ballet/Contemporary dancing, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniattam, Kathak and Odissi.

THROUGH A TOTAL PRO-BONO EFFORT BY A TEAM OF 40 DANCERS AND EQUAL NUMBER OF OFF-STAGE TEAM, all the proceeds of this fundraiser will be directed to benefit selected families channeled through Habitat for Humanity.
