Our 1st official Story Slam! Theme: "Get It Over With!"
Bad date? Carnival ride that wouldn't end? Tooth extraction? Job interview? Dress fitting after binge eating a box of Malomars? What has made you think (or scream), "Get it over with!" ?
This is storytelling, folks! No scripts, index cards, or notes on your hand. Come with an original, true story that can be told in 5-7 minutes. It should connect with the theme in some way. Put your name in the hat, and if you're chosen, Ta-Da! storytelling stardom!
