Come to the 18th annual celebration of Florida’s seniors at the State Capitol Building!
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the United Way of Florida cordially invite you to the 18th Annual Florida Senior Day, a celebration of Florida’s elders! Senior Day will be on Wednesday, January 24th from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm at the State Capital Building. Every year, this FREE event serves to honor Florida’s seniors, as well as provide exhibitors to inform them and the public of the types of programs and services available to Florida’s seniors. The day’s events also include speakers, performers, free health screenings, and free giveaways! Kick off this lively event with us across from the Capitol at City Hall at 10:00 am for a Town Hall meeting to discuss important topics facing Florida elders and to have your voice heard! During the noon program in the Capital Courtyard, state leaders will speak to the attendees, and a free lunch is served to all who attend. We hope to see you there!
