The 2017 Cotton Pickin' Plein Air Paintout is a spirited arts event held in the picturesque South Georgia towns of Boston, Quitman, and Thomasville. Regional artists gather outdoors—in sunflower fields and cotton rows, on plantations, near waterfronts—to capture the splendor of the deep South. Scenes from the weekend’s work will be on exhibit and for sale at Studio 209 (209 W Remington) next to Thomasville's new amphitheater.
