Poetry Open Mic Night went so well last time, we're bringing it back--Julia Nance and all! Wednesday October 18th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm we'll be hosting an open mic poetry night. Sign up on arrival for a spot to share your original poetry or bring a selection from your favorite poet. Or grab a snack, make a new friend, and just listen.

Admission is free, and during the event, all poetry books in the store will be 10% off!

Julia Nance will be hosting the event again this month. She has spread her poetry and stories like pixie glitter from Chicago to NYC to Miami and everywhere in-between. She currently resides in Tallahassee, FL. After graduating from UT's creative writing program and a brief stint in publishing, she has cobbled together a happy life of workshops, performances, and a day job that pays her to work out. Most recently published in the Lambda Literary Award-nominated Flicker & Spark, her work can also be found in various poetry and literary compilations.
