Quincy Main Street is hosting the 2017 Quincyfest and Porchfest on Saturday, October 28, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Gadsden County Courthouse Square and throughout the downtown historic district. This year marks the 30^th anniversary of Quincy Main Street and festival organizers have combined the annual Quincyfest with the popular Quincy Porchfest, now in its 5^th year.

Musical groups Latin Soul Orchestra, Session, Krooked Kilts, Acme Rhythm & Blues and N'Spire will play on the main stage. Gospel sensation Kendrick and Renew'd and Quincy Music Theater youth will play on the Community Talent Stage. More that 15 musical groups will play on porches and venues throughout the downtown historic district and the Big Band, Thursday Night Music Club will play on the Leaf Theater stage. The Gadsden Arts Center and Museum will have free art activities for children. Arts & Crafts, children's activities, Segway tours, great food and a beer garden hosted by Damfino's Cafe, Market and Bakery will round out the day. The family-friendly festival is free.
