Florida Book Award winning author Christina Diaz Gonzalez will present a writing workshop on Monday, September 25, 4:30-5:30 pm for all middle school students at the Collins Main Library’s Program Rooms A&B.  She will also make a presentation for students of all ages at 7 pm followed by a book signing at 8 p.m.

Christina Diaz Gonzalez is the award winning author of several books including; The Red Umbrella, A Thunderous Whisper, Moving Target, Return Fire, and an upcomuing book in the Spirit Animals: Fall of the Beasts series.  Her books have received acclaim from Publisher’s Weekly, The Miami Herald, School Library Journal, and The Washington Post,  having her works called engrossing, compelling, and inspirational.  Originally from the Perry Fl., Gonzalez currently lives in Miami with her family.
