Family Friendly Festival of Florida Fun! Lovely Madison is the setting for stories of tradition, history, family, laughter, and longing. The event will feature a vast variety of tellers who will delight your imagination and stir your soul.
Hear ye, hear ye! From the heart of North-Central Florida, we are extending a special and important invitation to you, wherever you are. Madison County Florida Storytelling invites you to our fourth annual Tellabration!TM storytelling event on Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 18, 2017.
Held in a spacious tent on the beautiful grassy fields of O’Toole’s Herb Farm, we will have five different concerts featuring a wonderful variety of tellers all throughout the day. This year, we are pleased to welcome John Thomas Fowler from South Carolina to our stage. He will bring tales and music from the Appalachian tradition that will delight all ages. You will also hear some of our stage’s favorite tellers, Pat Nease, Wanda Violet, and Holly Bebernitz. But wait, there’s more. You will taste the flavor of Madison County as we feature local tellers who will bring you stories of our county, our people, and our tradition. Yes, for the price of one ticket, you also will hear some of the finest stories you can imagine, written and told by local 4th-12th grade students from our own local schools.
Please “Save the Date” and come listen with us. With you there, we will be complete.
