People “in the know” enjoy a treasure in our midst – the lovely Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. So, make plans to attend the 8th Annual Moon Over Maclay jazz concert at Maclay Gardens on Sunday, Nov. 5, 6-9 p.m
Bring a blanket or chairs, picnic dinner, your favorite beverage and enjoy a celestial evening of jazz in front of the historic Maclay House as a full moon rises over Lake Hall. This year’s event features Bakan-Margut-Hall World Trio with headliner David Detweiler All-Stars.
Stroll the brick path to the Maclay House and see the scary and funny Scarecrows In The Gardens created by youth groups, businesses and non-profits.
This musical evening of fabulous jazz presented by The Friends of Maclay Gardens is always a hit. Tickets - $25 for adults and $10 for students – are available at http://friendsofmaclaygardens.org or the Maclay Gardens Ranger Station, 3540 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL.
