Join WFSU Public Media and Apalachicola’s National Estuarine Research Reserve for their celebration of National Estuaries Day!
As part of a Splash and Bubbles grant WFSU Public Media's Education team received from the CPB and the Jim Henson Company, we'll be collecting trash at Apalachicola's International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 16th, and then repurposing it into an art project on or around National Estuaries Day celebration on the 29th! If you plan on joining us at the National Estuarine Research Reserve for this day-long activity-packed event, feel free to bring recyclables and trash for us to turn into an artwork! Reach out to WFSU's Education & Outreach Coordinator at hpower@fsu.edu for more information about how to get involved.

Additional time info:
The September 16th date is the date of the initial cleanup for collecting the trash that we'll turn into an artwork! September 29th is the date that we hope to collect any additional trash / recyclables at National Estuaries Day. In between and after that date will be when we begin creating the artwork, which we're happy to have help with aswell!
