National Estuaries Day / Recycled Art Project

National Estuaries Day / Recycled Art Project

Presented by WFSU at National Estuarine Research Reserve

As part of a Splash and Bubbles grant WFSU Public Media's Education team received from the CPB and the Jim Henson Company, we'll be collecting trash at Apalachicola's International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 16th, and then repurposing it into an art project on or around National Estuaries Day celebration on the 29th! If you plan on joining us at the National Estuarine Research Reserve for this day-long activity-packed event, feel free to bring recyclables and trash for us to turn into an artwork! Reach out to WFSU's Education & Outreach Coordinator at hpower@fsu.edu for more information about how to get involved.
