TEF's milestone 80th season kicks off September 21 with the return of Chris Brubeck’s Triple Play that teams Brubeck with versatile musicians Peter “Madcat” Ruth and Joel Brown. The opening production promises a varied set list of Delta blues, New Orleans jams, Tin Pan Alley standards and original tunes. TEF audiences have responded enthusiastically to past Triple Play performances in Thomasville, as the oft-requested trio brings a lively celebration of the American spirit on a diverse array of instruments ranging from folk guitar and piano to harmonica and trombone.
