COCA Conversation: Creating Your Elevator Pitch

Have you ever been in a situation where you have had a limited amount of time to describe what you do to someone important? Then you have delivered and elevator pitch/speech.

Your elevator pitch has the power to intrigue or dissuade a potential client, investor, or partner. Denise A. Wilson, CPLP will lead a seminar on how to craft your perfect elevator pitch on September 27, 2017 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at COCA (816 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd).

Learn about the speaker:

Denise A. Wilson, CPLP

For the past 19 years Denise has had the privilege of managing corporate training (StarU) at Capital City Bank.  She and her team are responsible for learning strategy & technologies, knowledge management, performance improvement and leadership development for over 900 bankers.  Denise has worked for over 23 years in the field of workplace learning and performance and is a designated CPLP – Certified Professional in Learning and Performance. She is passionate about organizational learning, particularly about blending new and existing approaches to meet learning needs and improve bottom line results.  

Denise has been an active member  of The Association for Talent Development (ATD) and served in many capacities including past President of the ATD Tallahassee Chapter.  She is a dedicated volunteer serving on the boards of the American Red Cross Capital Area Chapter, Children’s Home Society and KEYS (Keys to Exceptional Youth Success.)  She is married with two children, and is a tireless advocate for children’s issues, particularly children with special needs.
