In conjunction with the exhibit Beaches, Creatures, and Cowboys: Florida Movie Posters, the Museum presents the classic movie The Yearling (1946), which is the story of an 1880s family living in Florida scrub country whose son adopts an orphaned deer. The movie begins at 2:00 in the Museum theater. Before the movie starts, create a diorama of a typical Florida frontier homestead. Bring a throw pillow or comfy seat! Program and parking are free and open to the public.
