Looking for something different to do this weekend? How about Japanese Fish Printing?
Dating from the mid-1800’s, “gyo= fish/ taku= rubbing”, was originally used as a form of record keeping among Japanese fishermen. Today it is celebrated as an art. In this workshop, participants will use the direct approach of the art. In this approach participants will apply ink or paint onto the fish and gently press it onto paper. Materials will be provided.
$10 members/ $12 nonmembers
