Literary Night featuring Rick Burnham

Presented by Black Dog on the Square at Black Dog on the Square

Black Dog on the Square is thrilled to welcome author Rick Burnham and help him celebrate the release of his new book Hank.

Rick Burnham has traveled the world over while spending twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force. His heart never really left the Florida Panhandle where he spent his early years growing up in the small town of Jasper. It is there that you will find the fictional towns at the heart of his first two books: Lute Casey - Redneck Vampire, and Moon Over Berlin. Rick is a 2013 graduate of Valdosta State University, where he majored in English. He also has a degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University.

When he is not writing, Rick spends the majority of his time at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, where he serves as Editor in Chief of the Elder Update, a bimonthly newspaper published for seniors living in the Sunshine State. He dabbles in carpentry and struggles to maintain a two- and-a- half acre lot in rural Grady County, Ga., where he lives with his wife and boxer Gigi.
