The “Legacy” exhibition is a celebration of the life’s work of sculptor Bradley Cooley who passed away in February of this year. Cooley’s work is in collections throughout the nation. This is the largest collection of his work shown in one place.
Bradley Cooley and his son created a legacy of "life in bronze." Their work is found across the country - commissions celebrating the famous and not so famous. Often referred to as "sculptor of the Seminoles" Bradley Cooley created many life sized piece of tribal chiefs and leaders along with beautiful renderings of Miss Seminoles over the past decade +.
Bradley Cooley captured people and wildlife in his favorite medium...bronze. His detail was remarkable.
1020 ART is hosting this celebratory showcase to honor the work of Bradley Cooley and to give us all the opportunity to see many pieces never put on display before. This exciting showcase will be at 1020 ART throughout May and June.
May 5th is the opening evening for "Legacy" - a reception is begin held from 6-9 PM and is open to the public at no charge.
