The FAMU Black Archives Research Center & Museum presents the FAMU Gospel Choir’s 60th Anniversary Reunion Festival & Concert.
The FAMU Black Archives Research Center & Museum presents the FAMU Gospel Choir's 60th Anniversary Reunion Festival & Concert. The concert is Saturday, April 22, 2017, 7:00PM at Lee Hall on FAMU's campus. Alumni & current choir will be in concert featuring former choir directors such as Dr. Helena Barrington, Minister Robert Price, Sherwood Brown and several others spanning a 40 year time frame. All alumni of the FAMU Gospel choir are encouraged to participate and should call 850-264-4752 for more information.
Proceeds from the free concert will go to benefit scholarships for FAMU Gospel Choir Students. Contributions can be made to this effort by going to the following link and selecting 'FAMU Gospel Choir 60th Anniversary'. https://my.famu.edu/giving/misc
