Screening: Red Wolf Revival

Screening: Red Wolf Revival

Presented by WFSU and Tallahassee Museum at Tallahassee Museum

The red wolf was once a top predator of the American southeast.  By controlling the numbers of its prey species, it helped bring balance to our native ecosystems.  Today, there are fewer than 100 left in the wild.

WFSU, in partnership with the Tallahassee Museum, is screening Reel South: Red Wolf Revival.  This award-winning short film by Roshan Patel and Madison McClintock focuses on the only wild population of red wolves, located in North Carolina.  We'll also screen a short film from WFSU's Local Routes, highlighting efforts to breed red wolves at the Tallahassee Museum and at Saint Vincent Island.
