From The Heart has joined hands and hearts with the other 98% to bring you a tax free music event. "That's Right Folks," other than the 7% sales tax on the ticket sale required by State of Florida, the 7% tax to rent the facility, 7% tax on the fuel you will use to attend and the dinner you might have on the way, and of course the roughly 3% we will pay out to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, that sorta feels like a tax to perform live music and the 28-35% federal INCOME TAX that we will pay on any income we might generate from this event, there will be (READ MY LIPS) absolutely no taxes charged to attend this event.
I am sure we will have a few accountants on hand in the crowd or onstage that can explain all these taxes and there benefits to us as the night progresses.
We got some of the best TAX free performers in town lending there Tax free performance to this event. Brother Frank Lindamood, Sister Maggie Driscoll, Hot Tamale, Dean Newman, Mimi Hearn, Charlie Wilkinson bringing us up to speed on the music and history of BLIND SQUIRRELL DIETZ, Donna Marie Decker with a host of many, Little Ricky Ott and The Evaders, and more to be announced. Doors open at 7PM and the music starts at 8PM. We will get you outta there before midnight so you still have time to go home and file your federal income taxes which will actually be due on April 18, 2017 since tax day falls on the weekend.
Tickets are $20 at the door but to demonstrate our spirit and dedication to helping out our fellow tax payers if you are a Democrat you will get a $5.00 SUBSIDY to apply to your ticket. If you are a Republican you will get a $5.00 TAX CREDIT applied at the door. If you are a veteran you will get a $10.00 THANK YOU CREDIT for serving our country. If you are part of the 2% we suggest a $250,000.00 tax free gift for your ticket to be donated to the local homeless shelter or any local charity of your choice. See you at the event.
