You are invited to spend an evening with the best of Tallahassee’s past and future at this year’s Sunshine State Spotlight hosted by the New Leaders Council of Tallahassee. The night will celebrate community members who represent New Leaders Council’s values of integrity, leadership, and vision through their professional and community-based advocacy work.
New Leaders Council (NLC) is a national progressive leadership organization with a chapter here in Tallahassee. We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused on developing the next generation of young progressive leaders.
Nominations are currently open to anyone in the community. Interested individuals can submit nominations for elected officials, nonprofit leaders, business leaders and community engagement leaders. These awards are our opportunity to thank those individuals for their hard work. The nomination window closes on Wednesday, April 12th at 5 p.m. The final three nominees for each category will be invited to the banquet where the winner will be announced for the first time.
