Tallahassee Community Chorus Presents "An Evening of Bach"

Presented by The Tallahassee Community Chorus at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall - Florida State University

The Tallahassee Community Chorus closes its 29th season with a performance of the massive and moving St John Passion, Johann Sebastian Bach’s great oratorio relating the Passion of Christ as told in the Gospel of John.  The Chorus will be joined by eight soloists, and a full orchestra, which will include the Tallahassee Bach Parley.

Valerie Arsenault, Music Director of the Bach Parley, will give a brief pre-concert lecture about the St. John Passion at 3:30 PM in Westcott Room 060, accessible from the North side of the building housing Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.  All members of the audience are welcome.

The Chorus is partnering with Big Bend Hospice Foundation for this concert.  There will be a table in the lobby of the concert hall before the concert where patrons can meet with the Big Bend Hospice representatives and learn more about the services offered, including the Music Therapy program.
