Workshop: Students will be placed into beginning or intermediate level groups based on the piece they are currently studying with their private instructor. Each group will receive one hour of group instruction with Mr. Morley. Beginning class will run from 1:00-2:00pm and intermediate class will run from 2:00-3:00pm. Cost is $25. Open to students ages 7-12

Masterclass: Students will have a 30 minute individual session with Mr. Morley on a tune of their choice. Masterclasses are open to observation, space permitting. Classes will start at 3:30pm. Cost is $25. Open to students ages 10+ Only six spaces available.

Both the workshop and masterclasses are free to observe, space permitting.

About the instructor: Incredibly versatile as a performer, Mr. Morley has shared the stage with Pete Fountain, Natalie Cole, Harry Connick, Jr., and Yo-Yo Ma. He toured for five years with country artist John Anderson and did two European tours as a jazz violinist with the New Orleans Jazz All-Stars. Mr. Morley currently performs and records with his Irish Trad duo Banna de dhá and the band Mithril. Also an active educator, Mr. Morley is a Road Scholar for the University of South Alabama, a faculty member at the Mark O’Connor String Method Camp, and has published his own fiddling method books.
