Creative Tallahassee 2017 Exhibition Reception

Creative Tallahassee 2017 Exhibition Reception

Presented by Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) at City Hall Galleries

Celebrate the skill, talent, ingenuity and creativity of some of the most exciting artists in the Big Bend area. Highlighted in this multi-media show is the work of many established and emerging local artists. This highly-anticipated annual, juried exhibition features 56 paintings, drawings, photographs, textiles, and sculptures.

The competition was steep. There were more than 180 individual artworks submitted this year by 66 artists. And from those, 49 artists were selected by a special jury to have their work shown in this year’s Creative Tallahassee show.

Those artists are:
AJ Abellera, Rex Adams, Michael Alfano Jr., Darlene Almeda, Natalia Andreeva, Maria Balingit, Connie Betterley, Peter Bigelow, Debra Brienen, Randy Brienen, Rose Carrera, Riko Carrion, Adrienne Carrion, Katie Clark, Leslie Cohen, Steve Coleman, Terrie Corbett, Joyce Estes, Danielle Figueroa, Neil Fletcher, Mary Fowler, Elizabeth George, Sharon Hester, Todd Jones, Ann Kawamoto, Jennifer Lange, Mary Jane Lord, Kellie Martin, Art McConnell, William McKeown, Linda Menke, Gretchen Miller, Yoshiko Murdick, Ruth Nickens, David Pascoe, Donato Pietrodangelo, Jill Quadagno, Roger Raepple, Susan Richardson, Mary Schaad, Eduardo Sonora-Varona, Ned Stacey, Karen Stewart, Don Stock, Nic Stoltzfus, Jane Streit, Mikiko Tanaka, Walter Thorner, Mary Liz Tippin-Moody
