Symphonic Band Concert

Presented by Florida State University College of Music at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall - Florida State University

The FSU College of Music is pleased to present the University Symphonic Band on April 18, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Under the direction of Dr. Patrick Dunnigan,  the Symphonic Band will present a performance of masterworks by two renowned European composers: the Symphony in B-flat by Paul Hindemith, and a rare performance of Al Fresco by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, Karel Husa. The program will also include original works for band by Michael Markowski and others.

This event is ticketed. General admission. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and non-FSU students; FSU students free with ID. For more information, please contact the College of Music Box Office at 645-7949.

Parking Info

General parking is available in the St. Augustine Garage located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets, and the Call Street Garage located on corner of Call and Macomb Streets. Accessible parking is available at the North Entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall and along Convocation Way. The accessible entrance drop-off area is located at the north entrance of Ruby Diamond (the roundabout) and may be accessed by Convocation Way. Elevators are available to take patrons to the appropriate floor. Ushers will help direct patrons to the elevators.
