The Avett Brothers return to the Capital City Amphitheater for a live concert in Cascades Park on May 26. When the band performed here in 2015, for the Word of South Festival, the show sold out.
The Avett Brothers’ new album, True Sadness, achieves the group’s highest career debut to date and dominates multiple charts. The Rick Rubin produced album hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart, #1 Top Rock Albums Chart, #1 on the Digital Albums Chart and #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.
In 2009, they made mainstream waves with their lauded major label debut, I and Love and You. After a series of successes from concerts to top-line TV appearances, 2015 saw them support The Rolling Stones for the first time at the Zip Code Tour in Raleigh.
