Florida's cattle industry got underway in 1521, when Ponce De Leon brought cattle from Spain to what would eventually become the sunshine state. Nic Stoltzfus, photographer/author of Coastal Dune Lakes, chronicles the cattle drive that occurs every January in central Florida, where over 500 wranglers drive cattle from St. Cloud south to Kenansville. Nic's book The Great Florida Cattle Drive: Unbroken Circles will be released in February 2017 simultaneously with a documentary, and we'll have Nic, his new book, and a clip from the documentary to share with Midtown Readers on February 24th!
