Chris Botti seemed destined to become a musician almost from the very beginning. After hearing Miles Davis play “My Funny Valentine” at age twelve, Botti instantly made a lifetime commitment to both mastering the trumpet and developing a deep affection for melody, space, and balance – which has become an intrinsic aspect of his musical vision today.
