The Emerging Artist Exhibit, highlights the works of paper artists Joyce Keuling and William Walters along with the graphite pencil imagery of Karen Karabasz. LeMoyne will also be honoring one of their original artists, Mary “M.A.D.”Keatley.
Join us for the first show of the season at LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts.
Joyce Keuling, William Walters and Karen Karabasz will be displaying there works in the main galleries. Both Joyce and William are paper artists, each with their own approach to the media. Hand form and molded, torn and enhanced each are unique in their styles an subject matter. Karen creates portraits with a message in graphite pencil. Native Americans from vintage photos serve as her subjects with subtle almost subliminal words send the message home.
LeMoyne is honoring Mary"M.A.D." Keatley posthumously, works of one of LeMoyne's original artists will hang in the front gallery. Keatley was an abstract artist who loved color.
