In this class students will learn how to draw the figure by exploring techniques such as blocking in using basic geometry, finding proportional measurements, shading and gesture drawing. We will work with various drawing tools from markers to graphite pencils; and will use newsprint paper, basic white drawing paper, and colored charcoal or pastel paper. This class is a preparatory class for Life Drawing II.
