Please join the Tallahassee Community on Thursday, December 1 as we join the Tallahassee Community to celebrate the life of Steve Meisburg, musician, minister, civil rights activist, statesman, advocate and friend. The celebration will be held on Thursday, December 1 at 6 p.m. at The Moon, 1105 E. Lafayette Street.  A reception will follow.

Joining the celebration to speak on Mr. Meisburg’s contributions to the community and beyond are his loving wife Brenda McRae Meisburg, Rev. Dr. Betsy Goehrig of Blessings Church (Disciples of Christ), Mayor Andrew Gillum, Debbie Lightsey, Del Suggs, John Paul Waters, Rev. Dr. Stephen Cranford, Commissioner Scott Maddox, Former City Manager Anita Favors and Rev. Emory Hingst.  Performing musicians include Pete Winter, Ron K, Fred Chester, Mike Rychlik, Lindsey Sarjeant, Sammy Tedder, Margaret Sparks, Del Suggs and Rick Smith.
