Compline at St. John’s, led by clergy and a men’s choir in the candlelit church, is a brief (about 30 minutes), meditative mix of scripture, prayers, and sublime music. Each week the choir sings a motet and hymn from this ancient tradition. During the spring semester St. John’s Compline choir will be performing motets by Byrd, Sheryngham, Poulenc, Padilla, and others.
