My Favorite Books Mystery Mania Book Signing - William Shelley Gwynn & Daniel Parker

Presented by My Favorite Books at Unknown

My Favorite Books will be hosting a Mystery Thriller Book Signing for William Shelley Gwynn and Daniel Parker, December 10th.

William Shelley Gwynn, after getting a degree in theater from the University of Florida, studied clinical psychology and creative writing at Florida State University. Writing fiction and creative non-fiction is the logical progression of his narrative poetry. "Blood on the Forgotten Coast” is the second book of the four." Look to see another book published in 2016. “Burnt out after twenty years in NYPD narcotics, Jake Dial returns to his sleepy Florida hometown to hang out his shingle as a private eye… Protecting his newest client, Carmen, becomes especially complicated when Jake is framed for butchering her husband, a cocaine smuggler hopelessly in debt to a Cuban supplier. With Carmen now a target for the Cuban Mafia, and Jake’s interest in her growing beyond their professional relationship, they’re both in the line of fire and must use everything in their arsenal—be it airboats or dynamite—to evade their bloodthirsty pursuers and clear Jake’s name.’

Daniel Parker is a teacher and an award winning writer, graduating from Florida State University and spending time in Russia, Japan, England, Canada, and Central America. Parker is currently working on his seventh book, “Ghost Canyon”, due to be published in February, 2017.

About the book he will be signing: ”The Sensorium”: “One man believes that crime is an aberration, that the human brain can be biologically corrected and that criminals locked up behind bars is wasteful. That man is John Franklin, and when a young billionaire builds an intelligent prison of the future, the sensorium, Franklin takes the job to prove that it will work. By the time Franklin discovers a hidden purpose of the sensorium, things are beyond his control.”
