Celebrating 70 Years of Foster-ing Excellence

Presented by Dr. William P. and Mary Ann Foster Foundation at Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery- FAMU

Celebrating 70 years of the Marching “100,” the Dr. William P. and Mary Ann Foster Foundation is pleased to present an exhibit on the life and legacy of Dr. William P. Foster and the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) Marching 100 Band.  The exhibit, honoring the band and its creator, will be held October 15-31 at the Foster-Tanner Arts Gallery, located on the campus of FAMU.      

 
The exhibit, Celebrating 70 Years of Foster-ing Excellence, features selected memorabilia of Dr. Foster and the Marching 100 accomplishments from the Foster family collection.  The event is free and open to the public.
 
An opening reception will be at 6:15 p.m., with a short program at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 20. 

 

The exhibit will occupy both levels of the gallery’s entrance hall.
