Each year since 1989, the Tallahassee Music Guild has presented its annual Sing-Along Messiah. Besides providing the community with a beautiful performance of Handel’s Messiah, the second purpose of this performance is to raise money for music scholarships for university music students and for the Tallahassee Symphony Youth Orchestra. These scholarships help some of the ablest music students purchase much-needed materials, travel to auditions and contests, and pay for accompanists or other costly essentials. Donations are tax-deductible and are welcome from any interested individual or business.
The Tallahassee Music Guild will present its annual Sing-Along Messiah on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Faith Presbyterian Church 2200 North Meridian Road. Scholarship winners will be recognized prior to to the singing. Following the Messiah singing, all are invited to meet in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and Carol singing.
Suggested donations: $10.00 for adults and $ 5.00 for children.
Scores may be rented at the door for $10.00. Guests will receive
$ 5.00 for returning scores after the performance. Tickets will be
