Frenchtown Mural Unveiling

Frenchtown Mural Unveiling

Presented by Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association (FNIA) at Frenchtown Heritage Hub

Frenchtown Heritage Hub is the site of the newest #SeeTallahassee way-finding mural! The Frenchtown mural will be unveiled at this Saturday's market. Come see the beautiful and incredibly detailed work by artist Kadija Christie, who also happens to be the Frenchtown market baker behind Vegan Vybz.

Study the map and find your way through Frenchtown! Post your pics at Frenchtown Farmers Market Facebook page and we'll give you a treat in gratitude. We want everyone to know how beautiful this neighborhood is, and how full of history. The unveiling event begins at 10am.

As a project of KCCI's See Tallahassee team, the Frenchtown mural joins wayfinding works for Midtown, Southside, Market Street, and the city at large, represented by an artisinal map housed at Tallahassee International Airport. Check it out - Frenchtown is on that one too (look for the basket of veggies)!

While you're here to see the mural, visit the Frenchtown Farmers Market vendors. The farmers market features all local goods, made with love and care. The produce is grown the old fashioned way, without synthetic chemicals or pesticides. The granola is made in small batches, the sausage is smoked by recipe handed down over four generations. The gourmet jelly is artfully crafted with seasonal features and mind-blowing flavor combinations. Open every Saturday, 9am to 2pm, at Frenchtown Heritage Hub, 524 North MLK Blvd.
