The Friends of Maclay Gardens will be hosting a Hypertufa Workshop. The park staff will instruct participants on how to create their own stone like planter. It's a fun and interactive workshop. All materials are furnished.

Hypertufa Workshop

In order to participate in this program, one: 

  • Must have the ability to follow verbal and/or visual direction independently or with the assistance of a companion.
  • Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors for a period of 2 hours.
  • Must have the ability to navigate wet, uneven terrain for one half mile, independently or with the assistance of a companion.
