Soulful Feelin': A Folk Art Celebration Opening Night at Riley

On Friday, April 12th, the John G. Riley Center & Museum will host an opening night event of the Soulful Feelin' exhibit from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. At 6 p.m., Guest speaker Doretha Hair Truesdell, wife of Alfred Hair, founder of The Florida Highwaymen, will present a lecture on the history of The Florida Highwaymen and their lasting legacy on folk art. This is a free event, and light refreshments will be served. There will be limited seating for the lecture, so please RSVP on the website - http://rileymuseum.org/events.
