The perfect class to hone your skills with ceramic artist Laurel Blackthorne!
Looking to level up your ceramic skills? Join the Skill Development Studio! Students will focus on improving their wheel throwing or hand building skills in this small group environment. Designed for students interested in learning how to move from beginner to intermediate skill levels in their work we’ll work on setting goals, creating timelines, and record keeping. Wheel students will focus on forms, consistency, and finishing while hand building students will focus on project development, aesthetics, and drying/finishing techniques.
This class is repeatable as students continue their journeys in clay.
Experience level: Previous experience in the relevant practice in a LeMoyne Arts class
Student work will be available for pick up 1-2 weeks after the end of the class.
Enrollment includes one 25 lb. bag of clay!
Registration is available now via our website. We ask you register prior to the class as spots are limited.
Tuition: $260 for members / $270 for non-members
Supplies: Tuition includes one 25 lb. bag of clay, use of studio tools and firing of work.
