Tim Donovan’s voice has been heard on the radio since the mid-seventies in Tallahassee – including currently on 106-1 The Sound. Other stops have included Panama City, St. Augustine and on Tallahassee’s WBGM, WFSU, Gulf104 and the station that spoiled him for radio right off the bat – WOWD, D-103. Somewhere over the last three decades or so, you may have enjoyed Tim's Freefall show, providing music-loving radio listeners with some of the finest "off-the-chart" blues, jazz, and rock music on the planet. Tim's dedication to Tallahassee’s local musicians has also endeared him to our community. Now Tim and his wife, Kim, need our help. Kim has been battling Chronic Lyme Disease for the last four years. Through the Donovans' continued research, they found a comprehensive and very promising 2-year treatment program called BX Protocol. The program itself is costly, and not covered by insurance. Added to the cost of entering the program, there will be additional ongoing expenses. By virtue of their gofundme site (Join Kim's Fight Against Lyme), Tim and Kim have already raised half of the needed funds, which will allow Kim to begin the treatment. Members of Labamba, Flipside, and the Wakulla Band are calling on the Tallahassee musical community to step up, step out and dance to help put our dear friends closer to their final goal.
