Roopali Kimbo presents stunning easel paintings and a large work incorporating Artificial Intelligence
Roopali Kambo is a professor of graphic design at TCC and an interdisciplinary artist with a research-based practice. A Fulbright scholar, her primary area of research is in world scripts. Utilizing art as an agent of social change, she seeks to broaden the dialog in art and design—and therefore culture—by building meaningful human experiences that both inform and reflect society.
The artist's style exhibits a modernist, abstract quality, drawing inspiration from diverse world cultures. Her images seamlessly intertwine the old with the new, existing side by side in a perpetual state of evolution and change. Functioning as a form of visual storytelling, Kambo's works mirror the richness derived from a harmonious blend of communal and individual endeavors.
In addition to stunning easel painting, Roopoli is including a piece ("Then & Now, and Again"), in which she utilized Artificial Intelligence as part of her creative process.
