The Producers

The Producers

Presented by Quincy Music Theatre at Unknown

The producers' plan was simple:  Take the worst actors, director and script.  Name the musical something offensive like “Springtime for Hitler.” Get fat cats to bankroll it and when it flops, (as it surely must), walk away with all the dough — legally.  But something goes wrong in Mel Brook's 2001 Tony Award-winning Best Musical "The Producers," based on the 1968 movie by the same name.  It turns out it is a huge SUCCESS!

Acclaimed Tallahassee Director Naomi Rose-Mock brings this riotous show to the Quincy Music Theatre with a super-talented cast of 30 who must play over 100 singing and dancing roles!  “This is a non-stop laugh fest,” promises Rose-Mock. Please note it contains adult language and content.
The show opens Friday, and plays from Aug. 19-21 and 26-28 at the Quincy Music Theare in downtown Quincy.
