The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library presents this inspirational display of hand-knit and crocheted teddy bears from the Mother Bear Project. View the exhibit at the Dr. B. L. Perry, Jr. Branch Library between February 1st and 29th, 2024.

The Mother Bear Project was founded in 2003 by Amy Berman of Minneapolis, MN. The organization has delivered 200,000 bears offering comfort to children in Africa affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Bears are knitted or crocheted using patterns provided by the Mother Bear Project. For more information, please visit MotherBearProject.org.
